Distinct CPA firm in Rockwall, TX seeks a Tax Manager to join a real succession plan. Work side by side with the owner, influence firm decisions, and grow into broader leadership as equity is built into the role.

You will own client relationships, review complex returns across individuals, partnerships, S corps, C corps and trusts, and mentor junior staff. The role offers a genuine path to ownership with hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Currently at Tax Manager level in public accounting.
• CPA or EA preferred.
• Comfortable owning both client relationships and technical work.

An independent CPA firm in Rockwall is hiring a Tax Manager as part of a real succession plan. The owner wants to bring the right person in now and prepare them properly, rather than lose them to a competitor in three years.

You'll see how the practice actually runs, help build the team, and take on more of it as the plan moves forward. Hybrid working here is built on trust rather than a rigid policy.
