Tax Manager, State & Local Tax (Income / Franchise) - Remote Option

We are seeking a Manager to join our State and Local Tax (SALT) practice. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Participating in compliance and consulting projects for multi-state alternative investment clients (hedge funds, private equity, real estate)
2. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide industry knowledge and experience
3. Reviewing tax calculations and information on state income tax returns
4. Building and maintaining client relationships, mentoring staff

Qualifications include:

1. At least five years of recent experience in preparing/reviewing state income tax returns for pass-through and corporate entities, with knowledge of multi-state tax issues
2. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; CPA, EA, JD/LLM, or MTX license (or within one year of employment)
3. Experience with pass-through entities and relevant state tax concepts
4. Strong relationship-building skills internally and with clients
5. Excellent communication, management, and tax research skills
