6 Degrees Search is recruiting for a Manager, Tax at a local public accounting firm in central Ohio, offering a strong work environment and potential for Partner status.

The role focuses on tax for small to mid-sized businesses and high-wealth individuals, with a culture emphasizing balance and teamwork.

You will lead and mentor a team, manage client relationships, and oversee complex tax work for diverse entities, with real estate knowledge considered a plus.

Competenze

• 8+ years of relevant experience in public accounting.
• Accounting degree and active CPA status.
• Experience as a Sr. Tax Accountant, supporting small businesses and high wealth individuals.
• Experience managing associates; coaching/mentoring; doing reviews.
• Strong understanding of tax accounting for C-corps, S-corps, partnerships, LLCs, etc.
• Familiarity with real estate/construction sector is a huge plus; knowledge of partnerships and tax implications.
• Client-facing role; strong interpersonal and client relationship skills; experience with CFOs/Controllers.
• Proficiency with UltraTax, QuickBooks, RIA, and Excel.

• Lead and mentor associates; perform reviews of tax work.
• Manage client relationships and provide tax planning for small/medium businesses.
• Oversee compliance and filing for C-corps, S-corps, partnerships, and LLCs.
