Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Manager to join our Private Client Services, Tax team in Atlanta. You will lead tax planning for high net worth individuals, oversee multi-disciplinary client projects, and mentor Associates to deliver timely, accurate work with a client-focused approach.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to research complex tax issues, prepare returns, and support business development initiatives while upholding A&M’s values and standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ of experience with high net worth individuals in providing tax planning services and preparing income tax returns
• CPA or Licensed Attorney
• Excellent research, writing and analytical skills
• Proven experience leading and mentoring junior staff
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Responsibilities

• Provide tax and consulting services to high net worth individuals focusing on individual income tax, wealth transfer and succession planning, and international tax
• Lead and mentor Associates and Senior Associates, managing work streams and deadlines
• Create concise, client-ready deliverables and present work plans and timelines to multi-disciplinary teams
• Identify complex tax issues, perform research, and provide actionable recommendations
• Support business development through proposal materials and resources
