Responsibilities include reviewing tax returns, supervising preparers, and guiding client tax planning while ensuring timely, accurate service. CPA license is required; 5–7 years in public accounting preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Five to seven years of public accounting experience with tax focus.
• Experience supervising and directing work of tax preparers.
• Licensed CPA in good standing.

Aufgaben

• Performs technical tax review and approval of all tax returns and governmental examinations of any complexity.
• Assumes full responsibility for larger tax returns and delegates to tax preparers as needed.
• Demonstrates thorough knowledge and proficiency in advanced tax skills for advising clients.
• Manages client service and ensures assignments are completed within budgeted time.
• Participates in client meetings and tax planning to assist Audit and Accounting Department with larger clients.
• Serves as a resource for tax staff on tax issues and questions.
• Leads tax preparation for complex business returns and client relationships.
• Maintains smooth flow of tax returns through the preparation system and ensures timely delivery.
• Performs billing and collection processes accurately and timely.
• Researches tax software for potential adoption and efficiency gains.
• Engages in practice development through referrals, community and industry activities.
