The successful candidate has CPA, 8+ years of tax accounting experience, and a proven ability to mentor staff while delivering client-centric tax consulting for high-net-worth clients. Location options include Santa Barbara, Scottsdale, or Houston.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of proven tax accounting experience; prior tax returns work experience required.
• CPA required; client-centric tax consulting for high-net-worth clients.
• Strong research capabilities on complex tax matters and regulations updates.
• Mastery of various tax compliance software and tools.
• Excellent interpersonal, relationship management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare income, trust, and gift tax returns with the tax team.
• Implement tax strategies for clients aligned with goals and values.
• Develop and present strategic tax planning solutions for high-net-worth clients.
• Mentor and train tax associates, review federal and multi-state returns.
• Ensure deadlines are met; manage client relationships and expectations.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.
