Job summary

Mission Wealth, a Barron’s Top 100 RIA, is hiring a Tax Manager to join our award-winning team in Houston. This full-time role offers a base salary with a substantial annual bonus within a nationally recognized wealth firm.

You will work with the tax team to review and prepare income, trust, and gift tax returns and collaborate with advisory teams to implement client-aligned tax strategies. CPA and 8+ years of experience required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of proven tax accounting experience.
• CPA certification is required.
• Experience providing client-centric tax consulting to high-net-worth clients.
• Strong research capabilities related to tax matters and regulations.
• Mastery of various tax software products.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management in a high-energy culture.
• Experience mentoring new staff and interns.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare income, trust, and gift tax returns.
• Work with clients and advisory teams to implement tax strategies.
• Develop and present strategic tax planning for high-net-worth clients.
• Assist clients with tax questions, proformas, estimates, and projections.
• Review tax returns and manage tax projects.
• Mentor and train tax associates.
• Maintain ongoing client relationships and retention.
