Job summary

KPMG LLP in Denver is seeking a Tax Manager to join our Business Tax Services practice. You will provide tax compliance and advisory services to pass-through entities and partnerships for Asset Management clients, lead teams, and manage client relationships.

You will oversee engagements, including billing and budgets, deliver high-quality tax advice, and participate in market activities to grow the practice. Qualified candidates have senior-level pass-through experience and relevant credentials.

Qualifications

• Five years of pass-through and partnership tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, or law firm.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• Licensed CPA, EA or JD/LLM; must obtain at least one approved credential if not possessed at hire.
• Experience with pass-through entities, partnerships, and corporations.
• Experience leading multiple client engagements and service teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance and advisory services to pass-through entities and partnerships for Asset Management clients.
• Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants working on client projects.
• Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients; build and manage client relationships.
• Oversee risk and financial performance of engagements including billing, collections, and budgets.
• Advise clients and deliver high quality tax service and advice.
• Participate in market and business activities external to the firm.
