Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking a Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join our Business Tax Services practice in Denver. You will provide tax compliance and advisory services to pass-through entities and partnerships for Asset Management clients, and oversee client portfolios while leading tax professionals and teams.

Senior Manager responsibilities include managing risk, billing, and budgets, mentoring staff, and growing the tax practice through market opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of pass-through and partnership tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm.
• Bachelor’s degree; Licensed CPA, JD/LLM or EA, with at least one approved credential listed by KPMG.
• Experience with pass-through entities and partnerships.
• Experience managing multiple client engagements and service teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance and advisory services to pass-through entities and partnerships for Asset Management clients.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide industry knowledge and experiences.
• Oversee a portfolio of clients and act as the point of contact for internal and external clients.
• Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants on client projects.
• Advise clients and deliver high quality tax service and advice.
• Participate in market and business activities external to the firm.
• Senior Manager: manage risk and financial performance including billing, collections, and budgets.
• Senior Manager: identify new opportunities and grow the tax practice.
