Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking a Tax Manager to join our Business Tax Services practice in Denver. You will provide tax compliance and advisory services to pass-through entities and partnerships for Asset Management clients while leading teams of tax professionals and maintaining strong client relationships.

As a key contact for engagements, you will oversee risk, billing, and budgets, and contribute to market activities while delivering high quality tax service and advice.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of pass-through and partnership tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• Licensed CPA, EA or JD/LLM; one of the approved designations/credentials at start or within one year of hire.
• Prior experience with pass-through entities, partnerships and corporations.
• Experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to articulate complex information.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance and advisory services to pass-through entities and partnerships for Asset Management clients.
• Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants on client projects.
• Manage a portfolio of clients and act as the main contact for internal and external clients; build and manage relationships.
• Oversee risk and financial performance of engagements including billing, collections, and budgets.
• Advise clients and deliver high quality tax service and advice.
• Participate in market and business activities external to the firm.
