Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking a Tax Manager to join our Business Tax Services practice in Denver. The role focuses on providing tax compliance and advisory services for pass-through entities and partnerships within Asset Management clients.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage client portfolios, and oversee engagement risk, budgets, and billing. Strong communication and client-management skills are essential to success in this client-facing leadership role.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of pass-through and partnership tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• Licensed CPA, EA or JD/LLM, plus other approved credentials; must obtain at least one credential within one year if not possessed at hire.
• Experience with pass-through entities, partnerships and corporations.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance and advisory services to pass-through entities and partnerships for Asset Management clients.
• Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants on client projects.
• Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients and build relationships.
• Oversee risk and financial performance of engagements including billing, collections, and budgets.
• Advise clients and deliver high quality tax service and advice.
• Participate in market and business activities external to the firm.
