Job summary

CLA is seeking a Tax Director/Manager for our growing Northeast Tax practice with locations including Baltimore, MD, Columbia, MD, North Bethesda, MD, Arlington, VA, Greenbelt, MD, King of Prussia, PA, and Bethlehem, PA.

You will consult with clients on business processes such as succession and tax planning, lead tax engagements, develop and train team members, and review complex returns while advancing your career in a collaborative, high-performing firm.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm.
• 10+ years experience highly preferred.
• Active CPA certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

As a Tax Director/Manager You Will

• Consult with clients on business processes such as succession and tax planning.

As Our Ideal Candidate

• 10+ years experience highly preferred.

• You have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

• You have an active CPA certification. A JD or EA may be accepted in place of a CPA certification.

Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.
The compensation range for this position in Maryland is: $116,000.00 - $187,000.00.
