Baker Tilly is seeking a Tax Manager for its NFP team in the Philadelphia area. You will provide tax, accounting and advisory services to small business clients, coach staff, and collaborate with firm leadership to drive client success.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree required and CPA/EA or Law license preferred.
• Five years of professional experience in tax, accounting or advisory services.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide tax, accounting and advisory services to small business clients.
• Manage client engagements, staffing, billing and profitability targets.
• Develop client relationships and deliver high-quality service.
• Review accounting records, perform consultations, and discuss tax implications with clients.
• Lead a team, delegate tasks, and ensure timely completion of engagements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax practices and laws at local, state and federal levels.
• Support firm-wide training, mentoring and professional development.
