Baker Tilly is seeking a Tax Manager to join our NFP team in Washington DC. You will deliver tax and business advisory services to small business clients, coach staff, and work with firm leadership to grow the business.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree required.
• CPA, EA or Law License required.
• Five (5) years of experience required.

Responsabilités

• Be a trusted member of the team providing various tax, accounting and advisory services to small business clients.
• Oversee and provide services pertaining to accounting, bookkeeping and prepared or compiled financials.
• Review and analyze accounting records and provide analysis and consultation, communicating with clients on accounting and business matters.
• Deliver best-in-class customer service to clients with responsiveness, timeliness and accuracy.
• Lead and plan client engagements and evaluate processes within client services to improve efficiency and internal controls.
• Provide recommendations for business and process improvements based on client operations and objectives.
• Manage and build client relationships and assist leaders in researching additional services for clients.
• Delegate, set goals, provide resources, and ensure deadlines meet client expectations.
• Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal tax practices and laws.
• Assist with staffing, billing/collections and profitability targets.
