Baker Tilly is seeking a Tax Manager to join our National Firm Practice (NFP) team in the United States. You will lead tax compliance and advisory work for small business clients, coach staff, and partner with firm leadership to drive growth and client success.

You will oversee accounting, bookkeeping, and financial statement prep, while delivering high-quality service, identifying process improvements, and expanding client engagements across multiple offices.

Qualifications

• CPA license required or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Five or more years of tax compliance and advisory experience in professional services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tax, accounting and advisory services for small business clients.
• Lead and plan client engagements and ensure on-time delivery.
• Review accounting records and provide consultative advice to clients.
• Manage staff, delegate work and foster professional development.
• Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal tax practices.
