Baker Tilly International is seeking a Tax Manager for its NFP team to deliver tax and advisory services to small businesses, lead client engagements, and coach staff. This role offers opportunity to work with leadership, develop client relationships, and contribute to firm growth from multiple US locations.

The position requires a CPA/EA or law license with 5+ years of tax experience in a professional services setting, including supervision.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree required; CPA/EA or law license preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in federal and state tax compliance, accounting and advisory services in a professional services firm.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates.
• Demonstrated management, analytical, organization and communication skills.
• NFP industry experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and provide tax, accounting and advisory services to small business clients.
• Review and analyze client accounting records and provide analysis and consultation.
• Lead client engagements and ensure timely delivery and quality of work.
• Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal tax practices and laws.
• Develop client relationships and support engagement profitability.
