Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA certification required
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax
• Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Experience managing complex client engagements and providing expert tax advice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee complex client engagements, including tax planning, compliance, and consulting services
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide expert tax advice
• Review tax returns and workpapers prepared by staff and provide guidance and feedback
• Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Identify and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax benefits for clients
• Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and other professionals to ensure timely and accurate completion of client engagements
• Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate these changes to clients and staff
• Supervise and mentor staff members to ensure their professional development and growth
