Qualifikationen

• CPA license current.
• 5+ years tax preparation experience.
• Experience with federal and state tax laws.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial statement frameworks.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and review business and individual tax returns (Form 1120, 1120S, 1065).
• Provide tax planning, research, and practical recommendations to clients.
• Review financial statements and tax work for accuracy.
• Manage Tax Department workflow, deadlines, staffing, and billable hours.
• Build relationships with clients, referral sources, and Partners.
• Mentor and develop Tax team members.
• Oversee client billing and collections.
• Identify opportunities to expand client services and support firm growth.
• Help recruit new team members and represent Johnson Block at events.
• Improve processes and maintain high professional standards.
