Job summary

Alegria & Company, P.S. in Yakima/Prosser seeks an experienced Tax Manager to lead tax engagements, provide proactive planning, manage client relationships, and mentor professionals across a growing public accounting firm.

The role oversees multiple engagements, ensures tax compliance, and guides advisory projects for privately held businesses and individuals. CPA required; Master of Taxation preferred; 5+ years in public accounting desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Active CPA license required.
• Master of Taxation or equivalent preferred.
• Five or more years of public accounting experience preferred.
• Five or more years of tax experience, including individual and business returns, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax engagements and client relationships.
• Provide proactive tax planning and advisory services.
• Oversee multiple engagements, deadlines, budgets, and team priorities.
• Mentor developing professionals and teams.
• Review complex returns for accuracy and compliance.
• Stay current with changing tax laws and regulations.
