Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• 5+ years of public accounting experience with a focus in taxation.
• Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state tax compliance and planning.
• Experience with individual, corporate, partnership, and trust returns.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
• Provide tax planning, consulting, and advisory services to a diverse client portfolio.
• Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior tax staff and associates.
• Research complex tax issues and communicate findings clearly to clients and colleagues.
• Maintain and develop strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
• Monitor tax law changes and assess impact on clients' tax strategies.
• Assist with IRS and state tax notices, audits, and correspondence.
