You will coach the tax team, map and improve processes, handle ASC740 quarterly/annual provisions, FIN-48 and UNICAP reviews, and respond to taxing authorities, auditors, and internal management. Excellent Excel skills and a CPA or Masters in Tax are highly preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 6+ years of tax experience in public accounting or corporate environment.
• CPA and/or Masters in Tax a plus.
• Strong federal, state and local tax knowledge.
• Experience with manufacturing, retail, insurance or mortgage industries is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel; strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Aufgaben

• Coaches, develops, and supervises tax accountants.
• Oversees ASC740 quarterly and annual tax provision calculations.
• Responsible for federal and state income tax return calculations.
• Review of FIN48 and UNICAP.
• Respond to notices and inquiries from tax authorities.
• Communicate with auditors and internal management; assist with other tax areas as assigned.
