Job summary

Pacific Executive Search LLC in Irvine, CA, seeks a Tax Manager to lead sophisticated tax engagements for high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses, with direct collaboration with senior partners.

You will oversee preparation and review of returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts and estates, deliver proactive planning, and mentor associates, while shaping service delivery and growth.

Qualifications

• CPA certification or active pursuit
• Five or more years of public accounting experience focused on tax compliance and planning
• Experience with high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and review of tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, and estates
• Deliver proactive tax planning and advisory services tailored to affluent clients and their business entities
• Manage multiple client projects from planning through delivery, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Serve as main liaison for clients and cultivate enduring professional relationships
• Provide technical oversight and mentor senior associates and staff
• Conduct in-depth research on complex tax matters and formulate actionable strategies
• Collaborate with partners on client service initiatives and firm growth
