Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of tax compliance or tax consulting experience in public accounting.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA examination.
• Working knowledge of individual, trust, estate, gift, and pass-through taxation.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for high net worth individuals, pass-through entities, trusts, estates, and gift tax engagements.
• Assist with tax planning and compliance projects involving individuals, fiduciaries, and closely held businesses.
• Conduct tax research on federal, state, and local issues and summarize findings for senior staff.
• Communicate with engagement teams to gather information and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain organized workpapers and supporting documentation per standards.
• Support identification and implementation of tax planning opportunities.
• Assist with practice development initiatives and process improvements.
• Stay current on tax legislation and industry trends affecting taxation.
