KWC CPAs seeks a Tax Manager to lead tax compliance and planning for high net-worth individuals and family groups. The role focuses on complex individual, fiduciary, and transfer tax matters, with client ownership and staff development.

The ideal candidate combines strong tax knowledge with sound judgment and a client-focused mindset, thrives in collaboration, and can manage multiple engagements while building relationships and contributing to business development.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of experience in public accounting, including at least 3 years focused on high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and estates.
• Active CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA).

Responsibilities

• Lead tax compliance and planning for high-net-worth individuals and family groups.
• Plan, supervise, and manage multiple client engagements throughout the year.
• Prepare and review individual, fiduciary, and transfer tax returns.
• Identify tax planning opportunities for high-income taxpayers.
• Research and communicate federal/state tax matters for HNW clients.
• Mentor and supervise staff with regular feedback.
• Participate in firm operations and business development.
