Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Tax Manager to lead technical tax work, develop staff, and manage client relationships for multinational corporate tax clients. You will review complex returns, advise on planning and compliance, and support business development while staying current with tax law changes. Travel may be required.

The role emphasizes mentoring, coaching, and delivering high-quality tax services within a cross-functional team environment, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree – preferably in Accounting or related field of study.
• CPA, JD, LLM, or EA.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Public Accounting.
• Experience with C-Corps.
• Ability to work closely with clients to answer questions for tax service requirements.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach employees, providing performance feedback.
• Train and develop staff members.
• Provide detailed review of complex tax returns.
• Advise clients on corporate tax services including planning, research, compliance, and M&A.
• Manage corporate client needs regarding tax services and federal/state compliance.
• Remain up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law.
• Some travel may be required.
