Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Tax Manager to lead client engagements, mentor and train staff, and deliver complex tax planning and compliance services for multinational corporations in the United States. You will review nuanced tax returns under ASC 740, coordinate with clients and service teams, and help drive business development opportunities.

The role requires strong communication skills, deep tax technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA, JD, LLM, or EA credentials preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with C Corp clients in public accounting.
• Experience with ASC 740 income tax accounting and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Career Advisor and mentor to employees.
• Train and develop staff members.
• Provide detailed review and analysis of complex tax returns.
• Advise clients on corporate tax planning, research, compliance, and M&A.
• Manage corporate client tax services and federal/state compliance.
• Stay up-to-date on tax law changes.
