Job summary

CLA is seeking a Tax Director or Manager to join CLA Florida's Business Tax team. This in-office position is based out of Florida offices in Fort Myers, Naples, Tampa, Lakeland, or Orlando.

You will consult with franchise ownership on tax planning, lead engagements, and develop team members to help clients grow their businesses. Ideal candidates have 6+ years in tax, a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, and an active JD, CPA, or EA certification.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Active JD, CPA, or EA certification.

• Consult with franchise ownership clients on business processes such as succession and tax planning.
• Lead, schedule, supervise, and review tax engagements.
• Develop and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Foster and build opportunities for our clients, communities, and people.
• Become an industry professional and attend industry-leading events and trainings.
• Perform a range of tax procedures in accordance with the size and complexity of the engagement.
• Review complex partnership, S-corp, pass-thru, and HNW personal tax returns.

• You have an active JD, CPA, or EA certification.
