Baker Newman Noyes LLC is seeking a Tax Manager with expertise in corporate ASC 740 provision and compliance to lead tax engagements for diverse clients. The role includes managing all phases of tax compliance, mentoring staff, and contributing to firm leadership.

Required qualifications include CPA, 5+ years in taxation at a public accounting firm, and advanced knowledge of federal/state tax planning and ASC 740. Massachusetts market salary range is provided with excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of tax compliance and planning at both federal and state levels.
• Manages complex federal/state returns with multi-state and foreign operations.
• Prepares and reviews ASC 740 provision work and supporting documentation.
• Ability to supervise engagement teams and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of tax compliance for assigned clients.
• Participate in firm administration and leadership, including staff development.
• Supervise engagement teams and ensure timely, high-quality work.
• Close proposals opportunities and maintain strong client relationships.
