Baker Tilly in Minneapolis is seeking a Tax Manager to deliver tax and business advisory services and tax compliance to clients. You will work with firm leadership to serve clients, coach staff, and help grow the business with a focus on quality and client service.

You will lead engagements, drive efficiencies, manage staff, and maintain current tax knowledge to provide strategic guidance while supporting a healthy work‑life balance and professional development opportunities.

Competenze

• 4-year degree.
• CPA, Law License, or EA.
• Five (5) years of experience.

Mansioni

• Be a trusted member of the team providing various tax, accounting and advisory services to small business clients.
• Oversee and provide services pertaining to accounting, bookkeeping and prepared or compiled financials.
• Review and analyze accounting records, provide analysis and consult with clients, and discuss accounting and business matters with clients.
• Deliver best-in-class customer service to clients, being responsive, timely, professional, and accurate.
• Lead and plan client engagements, evaluate processes and procedures, and identify internal control issues.
• Provide recommendations for business and process improvements based on client operations, processes, and objectives.
• Manage and build client relationships, address client issues, and assist team leaders in researching and providing additional services.
• Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build relationships internally and externally with clients and the community.
