Job summary

Distinct | North America in Arlington, TX is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead client relationships and oversee complex tax engagements.

With 5+ years in public accounting tax, you’ll mentor junior staff, review returns, and help drive the firm's client service standards. The role offers hybrid flexibility, a manageable workload around 50–55 hours during peak season, and strong retention in a smaller firm environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of tax experience in a CPA or public accounting firm.

We're working with an independent CPA firm in Arlington, TX with around 15 to 25 staff, strong client relationships, and a genuine track record of keeping both clients and employees long term.

That matters. It usually points to a business that's well run, a team that actually works well together, and clients who value what they're getting.

They're now looking to add an experienced Tax Manager to the team.

This suits someone with at least 5 years of public accounting tax experience who's comfortable owning client relationships, reviewing complex work, helping develop junior staff, and being a steady senior presence at the firm.
