Job summary

Slick City Action Park seeks a Tax and Licensing Manager to oversee sales and use tax, property tax, and international indirect tax across multiple locations. You will handle business, food & beverage, liquor, and amusement licensing, coordinating with Finance, Operations, and Legal to ensure regulatory compliance and proactive risk management.

The role requires 7–10 years in multi-state tax and licensing, strong attention to detail, and expertise with tax software and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of multi-state tax, property tax, and business licensing compliance experience.
• Experience with partnership taxation and international indirect tax.
• Experience managing licensing for business, food & beverage, liquor, and amusement park.
• Experience partnering with Finance, Operations, and Legal teams.
• Familiarity with tax software and ERP systems (e.g., Avalara, Vertex, CCH, QuickBooks, NetSuite, Intacct, SAP, Oracle).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation, filing, and remittance of sales and use tax returns across all states.
• Maintain multi-state registrations and monitor nexus thresholds as locations expand.
• Manage property tax filings and review assessments and appeals.
• Coordinate licenses for business, food & beverage, liquor, and amusements across venues.
• Prepare tax and licensing reporting for month-end close and forecasting.
• Serve as liaison with taxing authorities and regulatory agencies.
