Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a detail-oriented Tax & Licensing Analyst to coordinate state and local tax registrations, property tax payments, business licenses, and related compliance activities.

The role will serve as the central owner for compliance calendars, agency correspondence, account registrations, tax bills, license renewals, and third-party provider coordination across approximately 60 operating locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Two to five years of experience in tax administration, payroll tax, business licensing, property tax, compliance, accounting, or related field.
• Strong organizational skills to manage deadlines across multiple jurisdictions and locations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with internal teams and outside providers.

Responsibilities

• Set up state and local tax accounts and share details with Payroll and providers.
• Track property tax bills, due dates, payment status, and supporting documents.
• Maintain a clear list of licenses and permits by site and track renewals.
• Coordinate with third-party providers and internal teams to meet deadlines.
• Create calendars, trackers, and status reports for visibility.
