Job summary

HBK interns gain hands-on tax experience in a growing Top 50 accounting firm in Paramus. The program provides federal/state tax training, tax research, HBK software instruction, and a week-long 1040 Tax Training Program. You will contribute high-quality work while collaborating with team members across the firm.

The spring busy season internship requires a minimum of 24 hours in-office per week. Sophomore or junior accounting students with a 3.0+ GPA and CPA interest are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Sophomore or junior pursuing accounting major with interest in CPA designation.
• GPA 3.0 or higher; leadership, campus involvement, and relevant experience valued.
• Excellent computer, communication, and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Receive training on federal and state tax preparation, tax research, and HBK software.
• Attend a week-long 1040 Tax Training Program and contribute high-quality work.
• Work closely with team members across levels and gain hands-on tax return experience.
• Develop professional communication and analytical skills through hands-on experience.
