Notre Dame is seeking a student-ready tax role in California to support client compliance with tax authorities while minimizing tax burdens. You will work under supervision to prepare simple returns, collect data, meet filing due dates, and assist with IRS notices and year-end filings.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Accounting, pursuing a CPA, with strong MS Office skills and good written and verbal communication.

Formación

• Enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting; CPA pursued.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure clients comply with tax authorities while minimizing tax and reporting burdens.
• Use tax software to prepare simple tax returns for review.
• Assist with responses to IRS notices and year-end filings.
• Collect data to meet filing requirements and manage due dates.
• Communicate tax developments to service teams.
• Apply ASC 740 tax accruals and assist with income tax provisions.
• Develop and recommend methods to maximize client tax benefits.
• Follow Firm policies and the BDO Tax Quality Manual (TQM).
