Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) Green Bay and Sheboygan offices are seeking Tax Interns. The role involves preparing tax returns across individuals, corporations, and partnerships, while gaining exposure to procedures, workpapers, and systems.

Minimum requirements include pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA exam eligibility in mind. Candidates should be proficient with Microsoft Office and able to travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Working toward a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; degree strongly preferred.
• Credit requirements to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and financial data reporting.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proficient with MS Windows and Office products.

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns.
• Gains experience with procedures, workpapers, and systems.
• Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress.
• Expands industry knowledge through peers, clients, and training opportunities.
• Completes research and special projects as needed.
• Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members on a regular basis.
