Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) Eau Claire location is seeking Tax/Audit Interns. This role supports various client engagements and provides exposure to tax returns, audits, and assurance services. Interns gain practical experience while pursuing CPA eligibility and developing technical skills.

Requirements include pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA exam eligibility, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Travel to client sites and reliable transportation are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred.
• CPA exam eligibility requirements to sit for the CPA exam per state rules.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and financial data reporting.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office products.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns.
• Performs audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gains experience, exposure, and knowledge of procedures, workpapers and systems.
• Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress.
• Expands industry knowledge through exposure to peers, clients, and formal training opportunities.
• Completes research and special projects as needed.
• Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members regularly.
