Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) invites applications for Tax/Audit Intern positions across our Appleton, Green Bay, Oshkosh, and Sheboygan offices. The internship starts in January 2028 and ends in April 2028, offering exposure to tax and audit engagements and hands-on experience in client service.

Interns will work on preparing tax returns, supporting engagements, and expanding industry knowledge through formal training and peer interactions. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Working toward a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Accounting/Finance strongly preferred).
• CPA exam eligibility per state requirements a plus.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and financial data reporting.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office products.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns.
• Gains experience with procedures, workpapers and systems.
• Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, communicating progress.
• Expands industry knowledge through training opportunities and peer exposure.
• Completes research and special projects as needed.
• Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members.
