Job summary

RML & Associates CPAs in Laramie, Wyoming invites motivated students to join our tax team as paid interns. You will prepare individual and entity tax returns under supervision, learn through feedback, and collaborate with staff to meet deadlines.

This role emphasizes growing your tax knowledge, professional communication, and integrity in client service within a supportive, small-firm environment. Prioritizes CPA/EA certification pursuit and progress toward CPA/EA credentials; 0-3 years

Qualifications

• Must be currently working towards a degree in Accounting or relevant field.
• 0-3 years of tax and/or public accounting or private industry accounting.
• Must be currently working towards CPA / EA certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual and entity tax returns under supervision
• Receive and assimilate feedback to improve tax knowledge and skills
• Work as a team with other tax staff to meet deadlines throughout the year
• Demonstrate good business judgment and professionalism in speech, dress and demeanor
• Maintain a positive attitude, good communication and working relationship with all staff
• Independently manage workload and provide timely updates to managers/partners
• Assist with other duties as requested by tax manager or partner

Education
