Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking on-site TurboTax Local Service Experts to perform full-service tax return preparation, offer expert tax guidance, and support TurboTax software at our local locations across the United States.

You will work with a team of financial professionals to understand each client’s complete financial picture and deliver an end-to-end Intuit experience, including growth outreach in the community and referrals to related services.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training provided by Intuit
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Mon-Fri, at least 20 hours per week
• Must be willing to complete all required training and development; uniforms; name/picture used for advertising
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert; bilingual English/Spanish a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Grow TurboTax’s local client base through outreach, grass-roots marketing, referrals, and partnerships.
• Connect clients to bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or advisory services.
• Deliver end-to-end Intuit experience with a focus on customer satisfaction.
