Job summary

Intuit is seeking a TurboTax - Local Service Expert to provide on-site tax preparation and advisory services at a local TurboTax location. You will work with a team to deliver end-to-end tax solutions for both individuals and small businesses.

You will build relationships in the community, drive local client growth, and connect clients to other Intuit services such as bookkeeping and payroll. The role emphasizes hands-on tax work, client education, and a high level of service in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training.
• Onsite work at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, 20 hours per week minimum.
• Willing to complete training and development as required by the business, including compliance and cross-training.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients across personal and business returns.
• Grow TurboTax client base locally through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Act as a trusted guide and connect clients with Intuit solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, or financial planning.
• Build and maintain relationships to convert one-time transactions into long-term engagements.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience and assist clients with tax-related questions using modern tools.
