Job summary

Jackson Hewitt is seeking an enthusiastic Tax School Facilitator to join our team on location in multiple cities, including Anderson, Indianapolis, and Columbus. You will deliver engaging tax education to adult students and own the outcomes of the course.

Qualifications

• 1 year of teaching or facilitation experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and engage adult students.
• Proficiency with computers and presentation software.
• Patient, motivating, student-focused demeanor.
• 6 week course, 6.5 teaching hours per week in office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, structured tax education courses to students of varying experience levels
• Teach core tax concepts including federal and state income tax preparation, deductions, and credits
• Facilitate classroom discussions, exercises, and hands‑on tax return practice
• Evaluate student progress through assessments, quizzes, and feedback
• Maintain an organized and welcoming classroom environment conducive to learning
• Stay current on IRS tax laws, regulations, and updates to ensure accurate instruction
• Collaborate with management to align curriculum with Jackson Hewitt standards and training materials
