Jackson Hewitt is seeking an enthusiastic Tax School Facilitator to lead engaging tax education courses at multiple locations in Indiana and surrounding states. You will teach core concepts, facilitate discussions, and assess student progress while staying current on IRS updates.

The role emphasizes classroom leadership, clear communication, and a student‑centered approach to building tax proficiency among adult learners.

Qualifications

• 1 year prior teaching or training experience preferred.
• Ability to teach adult students and manage a classroom.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with computers and presenting software.
• 6 week course, 6.5 teaching hours per week in office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, structured tax education courses to students of varying experience levels
• Teach core tax concepts including federal and state income tax preparation, deductions, and credits
• Facilitate classroom discussions, exercises, and hands‑on tax return practice
• Evaluate student progress through assessments, quizzes, and feedback
• Maintain an organized and welcoming classroom environment conducive to learning
• Stay current on IRS tax laws, regulations, and updates to ensure accurate instruction
• Collaborate with management to align curriculum with Jackson Hewitt standards and training materials
