Insero is seeking a part-time Business Support intern to support the Tax Department in January 2027 – April 2027. The role is in-office at Ithaca, NY, with pay of $22.00/hr.

The internship offers exposure to tax processing workflows, document handling, and support tasks within a collaborative accounting environment. The candidate should be a Business, Accounting, or Communications student returning to school, with strong communication, organization, and basic MS Office skills.

Qualifikationen

• Business, Accounting, or Communication students who are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program.
• Students must be returning to school to be eligible.
• Qualified candidates should have excellent communication skills, self-confidence, and be self-motivated and capable of working productively in a professional environment.
• Conscientious, detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and excellent organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.

Aufgaben

• Gain a basic understanding of how tax processing workflows through the office in various computer programs
• Scanning and uploading tax documents
• Assembling and processing of Individual, Partnership, and Business Tax Returns.
• Scan, proof, copy and bind tax returns or financial statements
• Assist with CPE tracking and support with auditing certificates as needed
• Improving basic organization and planning skills
