You will verify OCR outputs, correct discrepancies, and ensure complete data for future processing. The position emphasizes accuracy and productivity within a structured office setting during an 8–10 week contract.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with basic computer functionality and ability to quickly learn new programs.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Ability to type at least 50 words per minute with accuracy.
• Be comfortable working in a structured office environment.
• Ability to remain focused and productive while performing repetitive tasks for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Review, Verify, and Validate tax data submitted by accounting firms to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Utilize an in-house software called 1040SCANverify that leverages Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to extract and process tax data.
• Evaluate OCR output for accuracy, identifying and correct discrepancies to maintain data integrity.
• Identify and correct missing or incomplete data to ensure tax documents are fully prepared for future processing.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail while meeting productivity and quality expectations.
