Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions in Michigan is seeking a detail-oriented Tax Data Verifier to input and validate data prepared by accounting firms for tax returns.

You will operate the 1040SCAN OCR tool, ensure accuracy, and support a seamless, paperless workflow for clients. Candidates should be comfortable with long periods of sitting, basic computer skills, and typing at least 50 words per minute, with ongoing opportunities within our global talent services network.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and knowledge.
• Must be able to type 50wpm.
• Must be comfortable sitting in a chair for multiple hours.

Responsibilities

• Verifying and inputting tax data submitted by accounting firms for the purpose of filing tax returns.
• Utilize an in-house software called 1040SCAN that uses OCR and verify efficiency of the software's operations.
• Constantly focusing on details and accuracy of the software's functionality to successfully prepare tax documents for clients.
• Help maximize efficiency in the 1040SCAN software to facilitate paperless tax workflow for clients.
• Input any missing information into the software by looking into the company database for comparison.
