Job summary

EY in the USA is seeking a Federal Tax Advisory (FTA) Data & Technology Analyst to process client data and perform tax-related computations using advanced data tools. You will contribute to R&D credit studies and strengthen data workflows across tax technology.

The role emphasizes learning EY AI tools, collaboration with the team, and delivering high-quality data-driven insights within a hybrid work model across multiple offices.

Qualifications

• Predicted undergraduate or graduate degree in CS, Business Analytics, IT/Systems or related field.
• 3.0 cumulative college/university GPA.
• Experience using Microsoft 365 and ability to learn other software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Hybrid model; majority in-person collaboration at client sites.
• Driver's license recommended; reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours as needed.
• Must reside within commutable distance of EY office.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Excel, Alteryx, Access, and Python to prepare and refine client data for tax calculations.
• Configure and calculate R&D credit studies using EY Prodigy.
• Design and enhance Alteryx workflows to streamline data prep and automate tax calculations.
• Identify and communicate data-related issues to senior team members for resolution.
• Develop proficiency in EY AI tools to support data analysis and productivity initiatives.
