Plante Moran is seeking a Tax Principal to lead the Tax Credit Transferability practice within the Tax Solutions Group. The role focuses on growing an end-to-end service for clients across all states, serving as a market-facing leader and developing a book of business.

You will mentor the Transferability Team, guide clients through IRS considerations, and collaborate with Assurance, Tax, and Management Consulting to identify cross‑serving opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant tax, tax credit, or clean‑energy transaction experience.
• Deep, demonstrated expertise in 6418 tax credit transferability.
• Public accounting experience preferred but not required; industry and deal‑side backgrounds welcome.

Responsabilités

• Lead origination and growth of the firm’s tax credit transferability practice on both buy-side and sell-side, nationally.
• Cultivate and expand a network across the clean-energy credit ecosystem—direct sellers, brokers, syndicators, and developers in the 45X / ITC / PTC markets.
• Build a book of business through proactive market development, proposals, conferences, and referral relationships.
