Job summary

Peak Living is seeking a qualified Leasing Specialist with tax credit experience to join our team in Utah. Under the Community Manager, the Leasing Specialist supports leasing and community operations, greets prospects, processes applications, and upholds tax credit requirements to ensure compliant, efficient leasing.

With at least three years in onsite leasing, you will manage renewals, deposits, and resident relations while contributing to retention.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of onsite leasing experience in multi-family housing, hospitality or similar.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HCCP designation preferred for LIHTC.
• COS designation preferred for Section 8.
• 1 year of LIHTC experience.
• Must communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Support and participate in fulfilling customer service and leasing responsibilities.
• Uphold leasing and marketing standards, greet prospective residents, gather prospect information, and set appointments.
• Show ready and model apartments, generate quotes, close, and secure deposits; assist with rental applications and credit verification.
• Ensure all tax credit requirements are followed.
• Prepare paperwork for new and renewal lease agreements.
• Review resident files and accounting records to determine unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents and collect delinquencies; enforce the lease to maximize revenue.
• Assist the Community Manager in organizing resident activities, newsletters, and retention initiatives.
