RSM US LLP in Tampa, FL seeks a professional to join its Tax Controversy/IRS Practice and Procedure team. You will advise on IRS accounts, penalty abatements, and examinations, collaborating with client engagement teams across the firm to deliver precise, compliant tax solutions.

This role is aligned with our national reach and client-centered culture. The ideal candidate holds a CPA/EA or attorney accreditation, has 2+ years of tax experience, and demonstrates strong Excel skills and client

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Must have completed CPA licensure eligibility or bar exam eligibility by start date.
• Active accreditation (CPA/EA/attorney) preferred or in process.

Responsabilidades

• Research, address, and consult on IRS practice and procedural issues.
• Prepare written communications to the IRS regarding penalty abatements.
• Work on IRS account issues, corrections and reconciliations.
• Prepare Private Letter Ruling Requests.
• Collaborate with other specialty groups on intersecting issues (corporate tax, partnerships, etc.).
• Participate in firm trainings.
