Job summary

Transamerica is seeking a management-level tax professional to lead the US Information Reporting and Withholding Team within Corporate Finance. You will oversee a team, translate senior guidance into actionable plans, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local withholding requirements.

The role requires a strong background in tax and accounting, excellent leadership, and collaboration across lines of business. A hybrid work environment and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent work experience; generally 8 years of professional tax/accounting experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and online research tools (RIA, Westlaw).
• Experience with tax/accounting software systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage activities of assigned team including supervisors and/or individual contributors.
• Communicate directives from senior management and align team goals.
• Review and interpret IRS information reporting and withholding guidance for products and procedures.
• Lead process improvements and trainings for the information reporting function.
